The Structures Group, Inc. (TGS), a structural engineering firm in Williamsburg, Virginia, is seeking an Engineer in Training. Position requires a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, as well as an Engineer in Training Certification (or ability to obtain).

Working under the direction of a Professional Engineer, the duties for this position include:

• Prepare accurate and thorough design calculations for new commercial, residential, and industrial construction projects, as well as the renovation of existing facilities.
• Perform forensic analysis of existing structures.
• Perform construction administration for new construction.
• Perform special inspections for new construction.

Candidates should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, be detail oriented with strong organizational skills, and have the ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
