Canon Virginia, Inc. is currently seeking qualified applicants for an open position as a Mechanical Engineer – Manufacturing at their Newport News, Va. facility. The successful candidate will: provide mechanical engineering support to implement and/or design of production equipment/systems in support of automated/recycling manufacturing facilities; and plan/design equipment or systems, such as instruments, controls, machines, and mechanical or electrical systems using knowledge of engineering principles. The position requires a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering with 1-5 years experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Requires automation experience. Electro/mechanical skills and experience required. Plastics recycling preferred.
