AAEE to Present Environmental Engineering Awards

The American Academy of Environmental Engineers (AAEE) will host its Annual Awards Luncheon on April 28th at the National Press Club, Washington, DC. The luncheon will honor Distinguished Environmental Engineers as well as consulting firms, public agencies, and universities for Excellence in Environmental Engineering (E3) practice and research.

Keynote Speaker Major General Jeffrey Talley, Ph.D., PE, Chair and Professor, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Bobby B. Lyle School of Engineering, Southern Methodist University and Founding Director Hunter and Stephanie Hunt Institute for Engineering and Humanity will present “Building Communities, Baghdad and Beyond.”

The Awards Luncheon is followed by a Technical Conference, featuring five outstanding presentations:

  • Patented Gaseous Electron Donor Injection Technology (GEDIT) for InSitu Biodegradation of Perchlorate and Nitrate, Patrick J. Evans, Ph.D., CDM
