AHRI Announces Publication of New Standards Editions
November 26, 2019

The Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) has announced the publication of new editions of AHRI Standards 1210 (I-P)-2019 and 1211 (SI)-2019, Performance Rating of Variable Frequency Drives. The 2019 editions supersede the 2017 editions, and update the standards to remove Appendix C as a result of the method of test being moved to ASHRAE Standard 222. Additional updates include removing the requirement to publish Individual Harmonic Current Distortion.

AHRI has also announced the publication of the new AHRI Standard 1310-2019, Wind Load Design of HVACR Equipment. The new standard provides minimum requirements for the design, construction, and structural load rating of equipment that must resist wind loads to maintain structural integrity and prevent separation of equipment components that can become wind-borne debris.

All AHRI standards are available free on the AHRI website.
