Alpha Corporation, a Professional Engineering/Construction Management firm, has been awarded an approximately $8.5 million contract by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Memphis District to provide quality assurance personnel to support the emergency removal of debris in Louisiana Parishes affected by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
Alpha is providing 100 Quality Assurance Monitors and supervisory personnel to work 12 hours per day, 7 days per week, for a period of at least 60 days to monitor and measure the removal and reduction of debris left in the wake of the hurricanes. Alpha is responsible for all materials, supplies, equipment, housing, and all life support services for these personnel during the execution of this Contract.
