Safety 2010 Conference

Providing one of the top comprehensive professional development and interactive opportunities for global safety, health and environmental (SH&E) professionals, the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) will not only feature more than 200 educational sessions, but issue roundtables, an exposition featuring new and updated products, programs in Spanish, an executive track, a fundamentals program and speakers from the headlines — from NASA, the U.S. Department of Labor and much more, at its annual Professional Development Conference (PDC) and Exposition, SAFETY 2010, this June 13th — 16th at the Baltimore Convention Center in Maryland.

The conference will feature an executive summit panel open to all attendees consisting of senior level management discussing views on the importance of employee safety and health and the expectations business and industry leaders have on the role of SH&E professionals. NASA’s Assistant Administrator — Office of Infrastructure Olga M. Dominguez, of NASA Headquarters, and VP Human Resources and Administration for Northrop Grumman Shipbuilding William R. Ermatinger will headline the executive summit. Key issue roundtables will also be offered during the concurrent session periods where attendees can discuss and share ideas, challenges and successes, as well as network.

The exposition, which will be held during the conference, will feature products aimed at enhancing safety including alarm and signaling devices, auto safety devices, biological detection, maintenance material and devices, computer services, signage, drug testing, education and training aids, emergency aids, ergonomics, eye and face protection, and much more. Many companies debut their new products at Safety 2010.
