Bioenergy Engineering 2009
May 7, 2009

The American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE) and 25x’25, in partnership with peer engineering and professional organizations, announce BIOENERGY ENGINEERING ’09, the first comprehensive multi-disciplinary international bioenergy engineering conference October 11th – 14th, 2009, at the Hyatt Regency in Bellevue, Washington.

Participants in this conference will choose from a variety of educational opportunities, including intensive institutes — sharply focused mini-conferences within the main conference — and a wide range of technical sessions at which invited speakers and others will present the most up-to-date research and industry developments available. In addition, panels will address hot topics related to emerging technologies and the future of biofuel production, as well as the political influences and impacts on bioenergy engineering. Workshops will provide professional education for all aspects of engineering in the biofuels and bioenergy systems, from genetics through production, distribution, and use. A trade exhibit will showcase the latest in suppliers’ services and products. Mobile workshops are planned to provide a view into actual working environments to further enhance the learning opportunities and provide vision for implementing new techniques and processes.
