Brewery Announces $8.9 Million Expansion In Manassas
September 5, 2017

According to a recent announcement from Governor Terry McAuliffe’s office, Heritage Brewing Company, a veteran-owned craft brewery founded in 2013, is launching an $8.9 million expansion of its craft brewery in Manassas, with funding support provided by both the state and city.

The brewery will be relocating to a new, 35,000-square-foot facility located on Gateway Drive in Manassas. With funding provided by the state, a $250,000 grant from the Governor’s Agriculture and Forestry Industries Development fund, and matching funds provided by the City of Manassas to secure the project, the expansion is anticipated to help the brewery triple its production. The state will also provide additional funding and services through the Virginia Jobs Investment Program to support the company’s training activities, according to the announcement.
