Virginia’s architectural and urban planning design firm, CMSS Architects, has merged with the federal-focused, multi-discipline engineering consultants, Hankins and Anderson, to form a unique A/E (architecture and engineering) brand where commercial meets federal.
The newly formed, H&A Architects & Engineers, officially announced their merger on Monday, April 5th, 2010.
The firms merged to shape future business offerings in the public and private sectors. H&A will step into the private sector with an architectural focus on commercial projects while continuing to provide engineering services for the federal government.
Both CMSS Architects and Hankins and Anderson have a strong focus on client satisfaction, design excellence, creative solutions through quality leadership.
“The combined focus of federal engineering and commercial architecture will allow for an easier geographic expansion to support current clients of both companies,” said Steven Pearson, AIA, Vice President and Chair of Hankins and Anderson’s Board of Directors
