CTL Opens New Branch Office In Virginia

CTL Engineering, Inc. (CTL) is excited to announce the acquisition of Virginia-based Geotechnical Engineering, Inspection and Testing division of Burgess & Niple, Inc. located in Chantilly, Virginia, effective September 15th, 2017.

With the expansion into a new geographic area, CTL will now provide services in DMV (DC, Maryland, and Virginia), as well as the eastern panhandle of West Virginia. In addition to Geotechinical Engineering, CTL is excited to offer Building Envelope Engineering, Inspection, and other specialized services, to the area.

Michael Sun, P.E., CTL’s new Chantilly, Virginia Branch Manager, earned his MS, Geotechnical Engineering at Syracuse University. He is a member of the American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE), American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) – Geo-Institute/ M.ASCE, ASCE National Capital Section, Geotechnical Executive Committee and Board of Directors 2003-2015, to name a few. Mr. Sun, previously with Burgess & Niple, will manage CTL’s new Virginia branch office with support from Tatjana Berg, E.I.T., and Ali Sheikhbahaei, P.E..
