The Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has awarded the PBS&J-led Disaster Solution Alliance (DSA) an Individual Assistance Technical Assistance Contract for program and Disaster Recovery Center support, temporary housing group site design and construction, and the hauling and installing of temporary housing units for future disasters.
Under the two-year contract, which has a ceiling of $250 million, DSA will deploy full-service, highly trained staff in response to a Presidentially declared disaster as ordered by FEMA. The alliance includes PBS&J and 11 subcontractors, nine which are small and/or disadvantaged businesses, all having specialized capabilities and integral roles in the delivery of disaster support services.
