Online Registration Now Open for AETC 2011
November 8, 2010

Former U.S. Secretary of Agriculture John R. Block will be the keynote speaker at the 2011 Agricultural Equipment Technology Conference (AETC 2011). He will provide remarks at a luncheon on Wednesday, January 5th. Online registration is now open for the conference, to be held January 5th-7th, in Atlanta, Georgia.

AETC provides a forum for pragmatic and open discussion of the state of the art for designers, managers, and others involved in the research and manufacture of various agricultural equipment. The conference features a variety of valuable activities that include technical presentations, invited speakers, academic exhibits, and continuing education opportunities.

The technical portion of AETC 2011 will feature cutting-edge research and industry perspectives packed into technical sessions that include: Combine Testing; Roadway Safety; Biomass Equipment; Agricultural Cultural Practices; and ISOBUS Standards.

AETC 2011 attendees will be the first to learn of this year’s AE50 award winners, announcement of which will take place at the conference.

AETC 2011 will take place at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, in conjunction with Ag Connect Expo. AETC attendees will enjoy special access to a preview of Ag Connect Expo, a world-class event for the global agriculture industry that brings together the latest in equipment, technology and ideas. Ag Connect Expo 2011 will take place January 8th-13th.

AETC 2011 is sponsored by the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE), a scientific and educational organization dedicated to the advancement of engineering applicable to agricultural, food, and biological systems.
