Creative communities throughout the United States have developed innovative approaches to revitalizing abandoned and potentially contaminated mills. Revitalizing America’s Mills: A Report on Brownfields Mill Projects – a new, 32 – page booklet published by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) – relates case histories that chronicle some of the challenges faced and solutions found during the EPA- supported revitalization of more than 350 mill sites (so far) throughout the nation.
The new document also includes a comprehensive list of federal, state, and other resources. A valuable reference for owners, developers, consultants, obtain a PDF copy of the Revitalizing America’s Mills: A Report on Brownfields Mill Projects from the IBP website www.brownfieldpros.org
