Spectrum Design Receives Awards
February 15, 2007

Spectrum Design received two Virginia Historic Preservation Awards at APVA Preservation Virginia’s 36th annual awards presentation on January 30th. The architecture and engineering firm was honored with two Gabriella Page Historic Preservation Awards for its renovation work on the State & City Building in Roanoke and the General Francis Marion Hotel in Marion. The awards were presented by The Honorable L. Preston Bryant Jr., Virginia’s Secretary of Natural Resources, at a Virginia Preservation Day legislative reception held at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Richmond.

The Historic Preservation Awards honor outstanding preservation efforts of business and civic organizations, individuals and government agencies who have contributed to the preservation of Virginia’s historic resources. The entries were judged by a committee of statewide preservationists, and six awards were presented.
