Vollmer Associates has been awarded a contract to design construction plans and profile for an equestrian community on the site of an historic Quaker meeting house in Purcellville, Va.
The 90 acre site will be developed into a 23 lot residential cluster subdivision, with amenities for equestrians, including barns, trails and training rings.
Vollmer will be responsible for preparing a feasibility study and sketch plan, boundary survey, drainfield and well locations, preliminary subdivision plat, field delineation of wetlands areas, channel cross-sections and flood plain study, topographic survey, construction plans and profile, VDOT and VSMP permits, and bond estimates. The proposed development is expected to be available for construction of residences in late 2007.
