October 28, 2019

Wagman Heavy Civil, Inc. broke ground along with officials from the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), Loudoun County and the Town of Leesburg on Tuesday, October 15th, at Route 7 and Battlefield Parkway in Leesburg, Virginia. “Wagman is excited to serve as VDOT’s Design-Build partner on another critical interchange project along the highly traveled Route 7 corridor. We look forward to collaborating with VDOT, the Town of Leesburg and other stakeholders to deliver a quality project on time,” said Greg Andricos, president and coo of Wagman Heavy Civil, Inc.

Wagman Heavy Civil is the general contractor for the Design-Build project designed by Parsons Transportation Group. The project team, along with Quinn Consulting Services and CES Consulting, will remove existing traffic lights on Route 7 between Berryville and Sterling, add eastbound auxiliary lanes from the Leesburg Bypass to River Creek Parkway, add second left-turn lanes from southbound Battlefield to Fort Evans Road and from northbound River Creek Parkway to Fort Evans Road. Construction is expected to last for two years. For more information on the project, visit the Virginia Department of Transportation project website.
