Marshall Miller & Associates, an ENR 500 and employee-owned company, is looking for a talented senior Aquatic Biologist to join our firm. This position will focus on stream mitigation plan development, environmental assessment and remediation projects. As a member of an interdisciplinary team, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the evaluation and mitigation of impacts to aquatic organisms. Tasks in this role will include the analysis of influence to aquatic organisms, review and interpretation of regulations, development and preparation of technical reports including ecological risk assessments, detailed assessment and remediation work plans pertaining to contaminated sediments, and development of restoration plans. Experience in benthic collection techniques, habitat evaluations, and collection of environmental samples is required. In addition, the candidate will be expected to assist in other aspects of environmental assessments including ground water assessment and remediation, Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessment, and coordination of NPDES sampling. The selected candidate will be expected to mentor junior level staff, be expected to contribute positively to the development of client relationships, and will be expected to apply their knowledge to support a broader range of projects for our growing assessment and remediation group.
