Machining Process Owner sought by Rolls-Royce Crosspointe, LLC in Prince George, Virginia. Responsible for ensuring capability of machining tools and processes used for manufacture of gas turbine aero engine rotating components. Use Siemens NX software for creation and modification of numerical control (NC) programs to support deployment, maintenance and improvement of 5-axis milling and turning machining processes. Position requires a bachelors degree or equivalent (employer will accept single degree or combo of degrees, diplomas and/or professional experience equivalent to a bachelors degree) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related plus 6 years aerospace manufacturing experience. Position also requires 5-10% domestic and international travel for business meetings.
