Riggins Company, a growing specialty steel fabricator located in Hampton, Va., is seeking a mechanical or structural engineer (BS degree required) with 5 years of experience to join our high powered engineering team. Successful candidate will be involved in developing preliminary designs, developing fabrication cost estimates, and performing miscellaneous structural and mechanical engineering tasks. AutoCad/MS Office/ Excel software experience and excellent communications skills (written and verbal) are a must. Experience in any or all of the following is desirable: ASME Code pressure vessels and heat exchangers, structural analysis, finite element analysis, pressure vessel and heat exchanger design software, and structural/mechanical cost estimating. This position will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to stretch his or her limits.
