Baskervill, an award winning architecture/engineering/interior design firm in Richmond, Va., is seeking an IT Director/Network/Systems Engineer to manage/maintain the firm’s IT infrastructure. Successful candidate will be responsible for planning, development, administration and monitoring network apps performance capacity; troubleshooting/upgrading communications systems; cost analysis; vendor research and negotiations; systems security administration; internal customer and desktop support. Qualified candidates must have experience in a corporate environment, with installation, configuration and/or administration of the following: SQL 2005; Microsoft Active Directory; Windows 2003 Server; Exchange 2007;VMWare ESX Enterprise; Channel SAN; Cisco LAN/WA/VPN/CME; iSCSI; Intertel or similar phone system; Blackberry Enterprise Server; webfiltering; SPAM firewall; and malware identification/remediation. Additional requirements include: 8+ years telecommunications and systems management experience plus exceptional planning and communication skills, verbal and written. A/E industry experience preferred.
