The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA®) announced recently that Michael Dell, the top executive from Dell Inc., will deliver a keynote address at the 2007 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES®), joining an impressive keynote line-up for the 2007 show. The 2007 International CES, the world’s largest consumer technology tradeshow, will be held in Las Vegas, January 8-11, 2007, and will celebrate the show’s 40th anniversary.

Michael Dell, founder and chairman of Dell, will kick off day two with his company’s first CES keynote address on Tuesday, January 9, at 9 a.m. All keynotes for the 2007 show will take place in the Venetian’s Palazzo Ballroom.

“CES and our attendees are fortunate to have the brightest and most innovative minds in technology and content delivering keynote addresses at this year’s show,” said Gary Shapiro, president and CEO of CEA, producer of the International CES. “Michael Dell has made his mark by finding innovative ways to bring technology and content into the daily lives of consumers across the globe. CES attendees will benefit from his entrepreneurial vision and big-picture thinking.”

Michael Dell joins other confirmed CES keynoters, Microsoft’s Bill Gates, Motorola’s Ed Zander and Disney’s Robert Iger, as part of the 2007 International CES keynote line-up.

The 2007 International CES will feature the hottest product debuts from 2,700 exhibitors, covering more than 30 product areas, including the latest in wireless, digital imaging, mobile electronics, home networking and audio. For more news visit www.CESweb.org
