ASFE Developes Do-It-Yourself Ethics Seminar
January 25, 2011

“What are ethics? Why are ethics important? How do I incorporate ethics into my daily life and work?” These are the three fundamental questions a new ASFE Lunch & Learn “do-it-yourself” seminar is designed to answer.

Developed by the Education Committee of ASFE/The Geoprofessional Business Association, ASFE Lunch & Learns are designed for presentation during lunch or after work. According to ASFE Education Committee Chair Laura R. Reinbold, P.E. (TTL, Inc.), all ASFE Lunch & Learns include guidance to the presenter, a complete script, hand-out materials for participants, and a PowerPoint presentation. “The seminars can be easily customized so an individual firm can make any Lunch & Learn uniquely its own. They reference ASFE materials that can be ordered or downloaded with a click,” Ms. Reinbold said.

Other ASFE Lunch & Learn seminars focus on scope development, high-risk language, electronic delivery of documents, workplace harassment, and meeting management, among other topics. All are described at the ASFE website: Each sells for $150.
