Luxembourg-based Euro-Composites Corp., a manufacturer of composite materials used in the aerospace industry, has announced plans to expand its existing operations in Culpeper County, Va. The company has maintained its U.S. headquarters in Culpeper since 1988 and expects to invest $11.25 million in the newly announced expansion. According to company sources, the expansion is expected to be completed during 2011.
To support the project, a $150,000 grant from the governor’s opportunity fund was approved by Governor McDonnell which will be used, according to the company, for telecommunications infrastructure upgrades.
