Geomagic Opens Japan Office

April 12, 2006

Geomagic®, a worldwide software and services firm headquartered in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, has opened its first branch office in Tokyo.

The Geomagic Japan office was established in response to the increasing demand for Geomagic solutions in Japanese design, engineering, inspection and manufacturing organizations, including automotive, industrial and consumer manufacturers. It will provide enhanced service and support to Japanese automotive and electronics customers such as Toyota, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Nissan, Mazda and Toshiba. Geomagic resellers and measurement systems partners in Japan will now receive collaborative customer-focused sales support and local technical support.

Geomagic software enables engineers and designers to transform scan data from physical objects into highly accurate digital models for applications ranging from digital shape reconstruction for mass customization, reverse engineering and computer aided inspection. www.geomagic.com
