Peak 10 Sponsors GRTC Sustainability Summit
November 5, 2008

Peak 10, Inc., the leading independent data center operator and managed services provider, is pleased to announce its premier sponsorship of the Greater Richmond Technology Council’s (GRTC) Sustainability Summit. The event, which highlights local business solutions for promoting sustainability, will take place November 12th, 2008 from 6:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Jefferson Hotel in Richmond, Va.

Mark Wensell, Ph.D., vice president and general manager of Peak 10 Richmond, will participate in a panel discussion entitled Energy – Conservation vs. Reliability. The summit will also include discussions on green topics such as understanding an organization’s carbon footprint and best practices and implementation for businesses seeking to “go green.” Additionally, Peak 10 will sponsor an award that will be presented to the Central Virginia-based organization that displays exceptional leadership in implementing sustainability programs.

The GRTC is dedicated to promoting the success of technology companies, as well as the growth of the technology sector of the Central Virginia economy. In order to accomplish this goal, council members lead a variety of ongoing programs, such as peer forums and workplace improvement, designed to establish and develop Virginia’s technology infrastructure.
