Register For "Client-Focused Contract Negotiations" Webinar
September 21, 2010

If you couldn’t attend ASFE/The Geoprofessional Business Association’s (ASFE) Fall 2009 Meeting in Austin, Texas, one of the highlights was the Legal Affairs Committee presentation by Michael J. Yost, Esq., Vice President/General Counsel, Terracon Consultants, Inc., on “Client-Focused Contract Negotiations.” He has graciously agreed to present this seminar again in the form of a webinar on September 24th, 2010 at 12:30 p.m. Central Time, organized by ASFE’s New Leaders’ Committee.

This interactive presentation will focus on tips and tactics to effectively negotiate difficult contract provisions by focusing on the needs and concerns of the client, rather than those of the consultant, to more effectively persuade the client representative to accept the consultant’s terms. Rather than a general discussion, the presentation will focus on specific provisions that you and others deal with on a daily basis, so you have practical tools to negotiate real-world contract issues.

The cost to attend is $25 per connection for ASFE and ASFE RO Members; for nonmembers the rate is $100 per connection. Any number of people may view the webinar over one connection. Details of how to connect to the webinar will be sent to all registrants before the start of the webinar.

Each person who watches will receive one professional development hour (PDH) from ASFE. The validity of a PDH depends on the terms of each licensing jurisdiction. Instructions on how to receive credit will be sent after the webinar to all registrants who attend.
