Tencarva Machinery Company Announces New Acquisitions

Tencarva Machinery Company LLC, based in Greensboro, N. C., has acquired Dixie Pump & Machine Works in Brookhaven, Miss., plus the assets of a portion of Predictive Maintenance Consultants in Brookhaven, from owners Reggie Allen and Collins Allen, of Brookhaven, according to Edwin W. Pearce, III, president of Tencarva.

The newly acquired Brookhaven repair facility of Tencarva Machinery Company LLC is designed to handle repair for a variety of pumps and rotating equipment.

Founded in 2006, Dixie Pump & Machine Works is a repair facility, with 11 employees, serving customers in Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas and Louisiana. They primarily work on rotating equipment.

In addition to Dixie Pump, Tencarva also purchased assets of a portion of Predictive Maintenance Consultants (PMC) that relates to rotating equipment. PMC offers predictive maintenance services, such as vibration analysis, infrared imaging and PDMA online motor testing. The business portion of PMC that relates to electrical services continues to be owned by Collins Allen and Reggie Allen as an independent entity.

Tencarva has 370 employees at 27 branches in eight states, including Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia, and field representatives in Kentucky, Ohio and southern Indiana.
