Thompson & Litton Ranks First in “Book of Lists”

Thompson & Litton was honored recently being acknowledged by the “The Business Journal of Tri-Cities Tennessee/ Virginia” in its publication “2005 Book of Lists” as the largest architectural and engineering firm in the Tri-Cities Region. The ranking was based on the number of licensed professionals working within the firm. The Tri-Cities Region encompasses Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia.

Of the over 100 employees of Thompson & Litton, 30 are licensed professional engineers, 11 are licensed architects, and one professional surveyor. The firm’s professionals are licensed in Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, West Virginia, North Carolina and several other states including Louisiana and Indiana. “We have enjoyed being a part of the continued development of this region’, reflects Ron Helton, President and CEO of Thompson & Litton. “Our livelihood consists of providing design and construction services, but our passion is to see our communities of this great area prosper and flourish. We’ve held on to this passion for nearly five decades.”

The firm provides comprehensive civil and structural engineering, architectural, planning and surveying services through offices located in Wise, Radford, Tazewell, and Clintwood, Virginia; and Bristol, Tennessee. The firm has a staff of over 100 employees.
