Timmons Group Awarded Design-Build Contract
November 6, 2008

Timmons Group, an ENR 500 Design Firm and a leader in multi-discipline civil engineering consulting services, announced recently that the firm has been awarded a contract with US Army Engineer District Savannah and Hensel Phelps Construction Company to civil engineering consulting services for a new Combined Headquarters for the Unites States Army Forces Command (FORSCOM) and United States Army Reserve Command (USARC).

Timmons Group, as part of the Hensel Phelps Design-Build Team, will provide civil engineering services for the $298 million combined FORSCOM/USARC Headquarters at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

The combined FORSCOM/USARC Headquarters will be a secure, state of the art facility. The new Headquarters will consolidate command and operations for FORSCOM and USARC as part of the Federal Base Relocation and Closure (BRAC) initiative. The project will also include several remote parking lots, off-site support buildings and road widening.
