Truland Systems Corp. Merges With Blumenthal-Kahn Electric

Truland Systems Corporation., one of the mid-Atlantic region’s leading electrical construction firms, announces the acquisition of Blumenthal-Kahn Electric of Owings Mills, MD. A member of the Truland group, the newly formed company will be called Blumenthal Kahn Truland Electric, LLC (BK Truland). BK Truland, headquartered in Owings Mills, MD, will provide electrical construction, design-build and electrical maintenance services.

With nearly 160 years of combined experience, BK Truland is poised to become the leading provider of electrical construction and maintenance in the Greater Baltimore area. Project Executive Bennett Rhodes of Truland Systems will oversee the new Baltimore operation. Rhodes brings significant project management experience to the partnership. John Blumenthal, executive manager of Blumenthal-Kahn, will remain an active member of the BK Truland team, providing continuity of operations ensuring the success of current and future projects.
