UL Environment Announces New LEED Interpretation Webinar
September 16, 2015

As of 2015, a new LEED v4 credit interpretation means more products with Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) can contribute to LEED credits. This new interpretation now allows certain equipment and machinery (in CSI Divisions 11 and 21-28) to qualify toward the minimum product requirements in Option 1 of Building Products Disclosure and Optimization. With the green building industry expected to represent $130 billion in opportunity, according to McGraw Hill Construction (2010) and Green Outlook 2011: Green Trends Driving Growth, there is great opportunity for more product manufacturers to get involved. View all equipment categories included here.

UL Environment will host a webinar, LEED® v4: New Interpretation Brings New Opportunity, on September 24, 2015 at 11 a.m. EDT to explain what has changed, discuss impacted products, and share new opportunities and advantages due to this interpretation. Click here to register.
