Bellomo-McGee, Inc., the official name of the Virginia-based Corporation, was formed in 1982. In 2003, the company merged with SG Associates, a transit planning firm, and began operating as BMI-SG. The firm offers professional transportation planning, engineering and research services to federal government agencies, research organizations and public- and private-sector clients throughout Virginia, Maryland, the District of Columbia and the nation. BMI-SG has 33 employees and annual gross revenue of more than $4 million.

VHB has been in business since 1979.
The firm will maintain BMI-SG’s current offices in Vienna, VA, Silver Spring, MD and Raleigh, NC, and will be called BMI-SG: a VHB Company.
