Virginia Department of State Police Awards Dewberry On-Call Contract
January 3, 2018

The Virginia Department of State Police has awarded Dewberry, a privately held professional services firm, an on-call contract to fulfill various architecture and engineering services on a task-order basis. Work will be performed out of the firm’s Richmond office.

The firm’s services will include architecture and engineering support for interior renovations; new small facility construction; heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system upgrades and replacements; roof replacements; and other environmentally related projects. Additional services will include feasibility studies, design, field inspections, and code compliance investigations for a variety of architectural, engineering, and surveying projects.

“As their capacity for training services continues to grow, we’re excited to work with the Virginia Department of State Police to provide professional architecture and engineering services on an as-needed basis,” said Dewberry Associate and Project Manager Derek Marshall, PE, LEED AP.

The firm previously designed the department’s $27.4-million driver training complex located near Fort Pickett, Virginia.
