ZweigWhite to Present at Ecobuild America

ZweigWhite will be participating in Ecobuild America, December 6th-10th, 2010 at the Washington Convention Center in D.C., by educating participants on topics such as ownership transition, M&A trends, valuation trends and the power of social media.

In addition, ZweigWhite CEO Mark Zweig will be hosting a CEO Roundtable on Wednesday, December 8th, 2010, 2:30PM – 5:30PM. Participants will share AEC industry gossip and war stories, describe business challenges and explore possible solutions.

Hobson Hogan, a principal at ZweigWhite, will present on the topic of ownership transition. He will discuss the fundamentals of ownership succession planning, including business valuation as well as what to consider and avoid in building, managing or participating in an ownership program.

Jeff Clark, ZweigWhite’s principal in charge of Mergers & Acquisitions, will report on recent M&A trends, including where the hot markets are, the top objectives of buyers and the key motivations of sellers.

Tracy Jeffers, a ZweigWhite principal, will discuss valuation trends in the A/E industry. In addition to a preview of the results from ZweigWhite’s 2010 valuation study, the presentation will include a view of valuation for specific industry sectors. Participants will get a long-term look at valuation data from 2000 to today, and see how factors like the 2001 recession and recovery, as well as the reaction to the current market downturn impact firm value.

Vik Duggal, of Project Frog, will present on how to leverage the power of the Internet to improve the built environment and business.
