I was forced to give one star, but if I could I would give zero. One of my family members recently purchased a new car at Bristol Chevrolet. She made it very clear that she wanted all-wheel-drive, and was repeatedly told by the salesperson that the car she was considering was indeed all-wheel-drive. When she took deliv...ery of the vehicle, he even managed to demonstrate to her the operation of the all-wheel-drive system, even though the vehicle did not come with all-wheel-drive. It's very obvious that he was either intentionally lying to her, or he had no knowledge about the automobile whatsoever and couldn't tell the difference from one to the next. After the problem was discovered, he then proceeded to (according to his co-workers) tell an elaborate series of lies in an attempt to cover it up. Either way, she is not an automotive expert and did not know he was giving her bad info until it was too late. The dealership refused to do anything about it, and told her she was stuck paying for a car that she did not want. As if that wasn't bad enough, they added insult to injury by offering a few free oil changes as if that is going to fix a $35,000.00 screw-up. There's plenty of places to buy a new car. For obvious reasons, I will never consider buying at Bristol Chevrolet under any circumstance. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE !!! Oh, and one more thing: If they post a reply like some others here saying how sorry they are and how they'd like to make it right, keep in mind we have already tried and they refused. They lie. A lot. You have been warned.... More text
