Had two leaks on a twenty year old roof. Showed up to provide an estimate when they said they would. Turned around a reasonable estimate quickly and scheduled the work. They showed up on time. When the leak required additional masonry work beyond their scope, they provided me with a quality masonry sub that came ou...t quickly, provided a reasonable estimate for the work and got it done. Cowan came back immediately and flashed in the chimney and no leaks since. They didn't try to sell me a new roof because they said the shingles were still in pretty good shape for their age. They didn't try to charge me extra even though they encountered a problem that was not roofing. Awesome service and quality work. When I do finally need a new roof, I can tell you who I will be calling. Great company. More text

We have used Cowan for multiple services. First, Cowan fixed the gutters ripped off by bad weather. Then, the team primed and painted our metal roof. Cowan recently replaced the roof on our house. They performed a thorough inspection of the job prior to providing a timely and detailed quote. The crew was professional, tidy (carefully controlled where debris went and regularly cleaned up the work site), and protected the many plants under our roof line. We felt it was time to inspect the roof on our Sperryville Pike house. After the first check, Cowan recommended some minor repairs. But we wanted one item checked further and Cowan worked with us. That did add a little to the repair list. We are pleased with the professionalism of all their folks. I do think the w...ritten contract could be less aggressive but we will return to Cowan for any future needs.
