My house was owner built in 1940 and they didn't know what they were doing. They did not follow standard construction methods (for example, the put in 2x4s on 24 inch centers!!!) which made the roof rebuild a challenge. Chuck added rafters and bracing to strengthen the roof, replaced all the plywood and then put on the... usual roof covering (underpayment and 30 year shingles). Chuck faced many issues to make everything "line up". I am sure it was frustrating, but Chuck was always courteous and polite when he discussed these issues with me. He said it was the most difficult roof he has had to deal with. When I was getting estimates for the project, I got the run around by several other contractors. There are very few business that operate under the assumption that the customer is always right, but McMurray Boy's Roofing is one of them. I will not hesitate to recommend McMurray Boy's Roofing to anyone.
